“Get Out” and “Black Panther” Star Daniel Kaluuya is to play in the upcoming love story alongside rising actress Jodie Turner-Smith. The film was written by Emmy-winning actress and writer Lena Waithe and directed by “Insecure” director Melina Matsoukas.
Matsoukas used Instagram to share the news with a picture of the co-stars, with the side note “Queen with a crown that be down for whatever,” quoting Method Man and Mary J. Blige’s “You’re All I Need”.

Matsoukas directed the most iconic music videos for Beyoncé, Rihanna, and even Solange, just to name a few. She describes the movie as “a film that defines black love as a revolutionary act. It shows that our union is the greatest weapon against the assault on black people in America”.
The romantic drama follows a couple after drastic meet with the police, and the story develops not exactly how we think it might. The story was written by Waithe and originaly approached by bestselling author James Frey.
